Tersk
bred
mare
Karinka
which herself was
a
superb
racehorse

broodmare
and Dam
of the well-known
stallions
Drug
and
Kosmonaut,
and of course
Karnaval. Karinka
was also
full sister to
the Elite and Champion
stallion
Kilimandscharo.
Merlina’
Dam
Gerlina is Russian
related
through her Sire Top
by
Pesniar,
and out of
the mare
Galina by
Levade,
a stallion sired by the Tersk bred Naplyv.
Gerlina
possesses
in addition
to
the Russian
descent,
some
Crabbet
blood and
a little
Polish.
Merlina
is
a
little
vibrant and excellent
moving mare with
a good
foundation. A
typical
classic
Arabian
of
the
ancient
well-known
bloodlines
and
we hope she
will
contribute with
a
foal
or 2
at
our stud.
Merlina
is
broken
in and we purchased her from the Dutch western rider
Johanna Vellinga where Merlina was used in the breeding.
We are pleased
