2002-2016 Forever in our mind and heart

We are very proud and pleased to present another true Russian jewel at our stud- the Tersk bred Balaton daughter Balmena.

Balmena is by the world famous and successful stallion Balaton (Menes x Panagia/Aswan).
Balaton was in Russia named "The horse of the Century". A stallion who has had considerable influence on Russian breeding and was himself several times champion beside his racing career.
Balaton is half brother to our mare Yamena through Menes (Nabeg x Metropolia/Priboj) and it is with great pride that we now have another mare with close relations to this great stallion.

Balmena's dam Melpomena is by Piligrim (Gips x Postrup/Suvenir) a stallion with 3 years racing career and Champion titles at shows. His wellknown sire Gips (Mashuk x Polinezia/Nabeg) was assigned an Elite title and ECAHO-Two-Star stallion and won several Champion titles.
Melpomena's dam Mirnaja is by the Nil son Naslednik and out of Margaritka (Aswan x Monopolia/Priboj), a highly valued broodmare at Tersk Stud.
Melpomena herself is arwarded with gold medals at both Nat.show and Int.show.

Identical for Balmena's blood lines is that they can be traced directly back to Tersk Stud, with ancestors tested at the race tracks and also in the show arena, - with countless of Champion titles won.

In Balmena we see an incredible exciting mare with an extreme interesting Russian pedigree with deep roots back to Tersk Stud. She has a pedigree that in every way fulfills our desire to preserve and breed with the old Russian lines,- bloodlines that we highly appreciate.

Balmena is a feminine mare with great movement and eye catching attitude and she like to showoff. She is a sensitive mare and a very fast learner. Always easy manageable with a loving mind.

From Tersk to Terndrup- we welcome Balmena at our stud and look forward to enter her in our breeding program in 2015.
